Curriculum Technology Showcase
Throughout the school year, students and educators from the Guam, Japan, Korea, and Okinawa Districts have the opportunity to participate in the Pacific Curriculum Technology Showcase (CTS). Two goals are to:
emphasize technology integration into lessons and professional use.
showcase student and staff products in as many venues as possible at three different educational levels (school, District, Area).
| |
The Local School |
promotes access, participation, and ownership by parents, the community, and the school by having the local school be the focal point for showcasing student and staff technology products. |
allows any technology products from any standards-based curriculum or professional use. |
sets no categories into which student or staff technology products have to fit. |
encourages students and staff to submit their technology products through a school Intranet registration process. |
showcases student and staff technology artifacts a variety of school ways throughout the school year. |
awards as an option a Certificate of Participation to all contributors and a Certificate of Merit to selected participants. |
volunteers to choose three to six student/staff products to send to their District Superintendent’s Office (DSO) and the DoDEA Pacific Director’s Office. |
The District Superintendent’s Office and Director’s Office |
- showcase the school student and staff products a variety of district ways throughout the school year.
- Award a Certificate of Merit or Certificate of Merit to the students and staff whose technology products have been displayed.
