DoDEA Pacific Overview

| DoDEA Pacific is part of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). There are three educational systems within DoDEA: |

The DoDEA Pacific Director is responsible for the operation of four districts (Guam, Japan, Korea, and Okinawa), 45 schools, and 24,000 students affiliated with 18 military installations within the Pacific. DoDEA Pacific serves school-age children of active duty military and civilian employees.

Accreditation/Grad Requirements:
Like many schools in the United States, Department of Defense (DoD) schools in the Pacific are accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI). The entire DoDEA system is guided by the 20062011 DoDEA Community Strategic Plan (CSP), which serves as the blueprint for quality educational and support operations in DoDEA Pacific. It ensures DoDEA Pacific ensures the DoDEA mission and is the foundation of the DoDEA vision. |
